PIPOS is an all-in-one point-of-sale and business management platform for retail and hospitality businesses — covering sales and invoicing, inventory, purchasing, customers, treasury and accounting, with self-service analytics and real-time reporting. You switch on the modules your industry needs: general retail, restaurant/café/bar, hotel, butchery, clothing, electronics, online storefront and CRM.
Yes. The Restaurant module adds table management with a live floor board, kitchen and bar displays, recipes with real plate costs and automatic ingredient stock deduction, kitchen store requests, and configurable pay-first (counter service) or pay-after (dine-in) billing. Coffee and ice-cream shops run the same module in counter mode.
Yes. Delivery channels feed orders straight into PIPOS — you review and accept them, they hit the kitchen, and each one books as a normal sale with tax and stock handled automatically. Channels connect directly or through a delivery middleware that covers all the major apps at once.
Yes. The Hotel module handles room types and rates, reservations with double-booking protection, check-in and check-out billed through the POS, and housekeeping status on every room.
No. PIPOS runs in your web browser on any computer, tablet or phone. You can use your existing devices and add a receipt printer if you want printed receipts.
Cash and M-Pesa/mobile money — routed through one payment platform, so tenders are recorded and reconciled consistently across the register, the restaurant floor and the hotel front desk.
Yes. PIPOS integrates with the existing KRA eTIMS API to fiscalise sales invoices and credit notes — printing the fiscal number, control code and QR code on each document. The integration is complete and currently awaiting approval from KRA.
Yes. PIPOS is multi-branch and multi-warehouse, with per-warehouse stock, transfers and per-branch document numbering. Each business runs on its own isolated database for security and speed.
Yes. A drag-and-drop designer lets you build your own documents and management reports (PDF, Excel, CSV); Saved Search lets you query any records with filters, save the search, and even schedule it to be emailed daily, weekly or monthly. There is also a global search that finds any customer, invoice, product or supplier from any page.
Every transaction posts automatically to the general ledger. You get trial balance, income statement, balance sheet, VAT reports, day book and more — including multi-currency support.
